Love Your Loaner
You drove it while your car was in for service. You got used to the tech, the ride, the way it fits your life. Now you can keep it. At Jack Volkswagen of Saco, every service loaner is for sale — and if you were just behind the wheel of one, you already know everything you need to know.
How the Love Your Loaner Program Works
- Drive a loaner. When you bring your vehicle in for service, you may be put in a current-model-year Volkswagen from our loaner fleet.
- Fall for it. Take it to work, run errands, drive it in real Maine weather. It’s a longer test drive than any dealership would normally give you.
- Tell your service advisor. If you want to keep it, just say so. We’ll pull the vehicle’s history, pricing, and current offers while your car is being worked on.
- Drive home in it. Finance it, lease it, or trade in the car you came in with.
Why Buy a Former Service Loaner?
- Lower mileage than a typical used car. Loaners are rotated out of the fleet often.
- One owner — us. Every loaner is dealer-owned, dealer-maintained, and serviced on schedule by factory-trained Volkswagen technicians.
- Current-model-year features. Driver assistance, infotainment, and safety tech you’d expect on a new VW, at a used-vehicle price.
- Priced below new. Former loaners are sold at used pricing, and many are eligible for warranty.
- No surprises. You’ve already driven it. You know how it handles, how it sounds, and whether it fits your family.
What’s in the Loaner Fleet
Our loaners reflect what we sell most: Atlas, Atlas Cross Sport, Tiguan, Taos, Jetta, and ID.4 models in a range of trims. Availability changes as vehicles rotate in and out. Ask your service advisor what’s available today.
Didn’t Get a Loaner You Loved? You Can Still Shop the Fleet.
The Love Your Loaner program isn’t limited to the vehicle you were assigned. Any former loaner on our lot is available to purchase, and you’re welcome to test drive one even if you’re not in for service.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I buy the exact loaner I’m driving?
In most cases, yes. Let your service advisor know before you return it and we’ll start the process. Occasionally a vehicle is already spoken for or needs to stay in the fleet, in which case we’ll show you comparable options.
Are former loaners covered by a warranty?
Former loaners typically carry the balance of Volkswagen’s new-vehicle limited warranty, and eligible vehicles may qualify for Volkswagen Certified Pre-Owned coverage. Ask us for details on the specific vehicle.
Can I finance or lease a former loaner?
Yes. Our finance team works with Volkswagen Credit and other lenders.
Can I trade in my current vehicle?
Absolutely. We’ll appraise your trade while your car is being serviced, and the value can go straight toward your loaner purchase.
